MARYSVILLE, WA (November 12, 2023) – Friday afternoon, an alarming wrong-way crash on State Route 9 and Milepost 8 injured three people.

The incident happened at around 5:30 p.m. on State Route 9 and Milepost 8.

According to the Washington State Patrol, a northbound Jeep crossed the center line into the southbound lanes and collided with a southbound Chevy Silverado.

Moreover, responders transported the 35-year-old male driver of the Jeep, the 17-year-old male driver of the Chevy, and his 18-year-old passenger to a hospital with unknown injuries.

Furthermore, officers believe that alcohol played a role in the incident.
