SPOKANE VALLEY, WA (January 21, 2024) – On Saturday, an alarming two-vehicle crash on Interstate 90 near Sullivan Road Interchange injured one person.

The incident happened on eastbound Interstate 90 near Sullivan Road Interchange.

According to the SVFD, a car lost control because of the icy condition of the road and struck a Spokane Valley firetruck that was responding to a different incident. Then, another vehicle failed to stop on time and struck the firetruck that was partially blocking the road.

Moreover, responders transported one person to a hospital with critical injuries.

Furthermore, the crash blocked the right and center lanes of eastbound Interchange 90.
