3 People Hurt in Mesa Auto Accident near Alma School Road and University Drive

MESA, AZ (November 25, 2024) – Saturday night, an alarming traffic crash near Alma School Road and University Drive injured three people.

The incident happened at around 1:00 p.m. near Alma School Road and University Drive.

According to the Mesa Police, a vehicle ran a red light and collided with a westbound vehicle. Then, a car waiting to make a left turn from Alma School Road to the University was also involved in the collision.

Moreover, authorities said that the driver of the vehicle that ran the red light sustained a cut on the head, while two occupants of the second car sustained injuries, including one with serious injuries. The driver of the third vehicle was not hurt in the crash.

Furthermore, authorities believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the incident.
