2 People Hurt in San Pablo Auto Accident on New Mexico Highway 28 and Carver Road

SAN PABLO, NM (May 22, 2025) – Wednesday afternoon, an alarming semi truck crash on New Mexico Highway 28 and Carver Road injured two people.

Reports said that the incident happened at around 11:30 a.m. at the intersection of New Mexico Highway 28 and Carver Road.

According to the Doña Ana County Sheriff’s Office, the crash involved a semi truck carrying sulfuric acid.

Moreover, responders confirmed that two people sustained minor injuries in the incident.

Furthermore, the crash spilled sulfuric acid onto the roadway, prompting the closure of New Mexico Highway 28  at Mile Marker 26.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified. 

Due to limited information, the Doña Ana County Sheriff’s Office continued investigating the crash.
