Injuries Reported in Pacoima Auto Accident near Van Nuys Boulevard and Keene Avenue

PACOIMA, CA (April 10, 2025) – Tuesday night, an alarming pursuit crash near Van Nuys Boulevard and Keene Avenue injured 2.

Reports said that the incident began at about 7:15 p.m.

A suspect accused of firing a gun at someone in Sylmar led police on a pursuit that ended with a crash and arrest, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Officer Miller said the shooting happened near Amboy Avenue and La Valle Street. The intended victim wasn’t hit by the gunfire.

During the pursuit, the suspect’s vehicle collided with at least two other cars near Van Nuys Boulevard and Kewen Avenue in Pacoima. Two uninvolved drivers were hurt and transported to a nearby hospital in stable condition.

Cellphone footage captured sparks flying from underneath the suspect’s truck as it sped down the street. The chase eventually ended in San Fernando, where the suspect abandoned the truck and tried to run but was caught and taken into custody.

He was arrested on charges related to making criminal threats.
