12-Year-Old Girl Hurt in Fresno Pedestrian Accident on Weldon Avenue and West Avenue
FRESNO, CA (September 2, 2023) – Thursday afternoon, an alarming pedestrian crash on Weldon Avenue and West Avenue injured 1 person.
The incident happened at about 4:10 p.m. on Weldon Avenue and West Avenue.
According to reports, as the 12-year-old girl walked home from school, a truck traveled south on West Avenue. Then, the driver failed to see the child using the crosswalk until it was too late.
Then, the driver attempted to avoid the pedestrian but the car crashed with her.
