1 Person Hurt in Hayward Pedestrian Accident on Tennyson Road and Calaroga Avenue

HAYWARD, CA (February 11, 2025) – Monday morning, an alarming pedestrian crash on Tennyson Road and Calaroga Avenue injured one person.

Reports said that the incident happened at around 7:35 a.m. on Tennyson Road and Calaroga Avenue.

According to the Hayward Police Department, a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed lost control, veered off the roadway, and struck multiple trees and a pedestrian.

Moreover, responders transported the pedestrian to a hospital with unknown injuries. Also, officers confirmed that the driver of the SUV sustained injuries and was transported to a hospital for treatment.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
