5 People Hospitalized after Stockton Pedestrian Accident on 500 West Sonora Street

STOCKTON, CA (May 19, 2025) – Sunday afternoon, an alarming pedestrian crash on 500 West Sonora Street led to injuries.

The crash occurred on the 500 block of West Sonora Street.

Upon the authorities’ arrival, they located five adults who were hit by the vehicle. Then, all five pedestrians, ages 40, 41, 56, 62, and 67, were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Moreover, the 62-year-old driver was located inside the vehicle, unconscious.

Meanwhile, reports confirmed that the driving under the influence may have played a role in the crash.

Also, officers are conducting a DUI investigation. Meanwhile, the authorities do not suspect that the pedestrians were targeted on purpose.
