BUTLER COUNTY, MO (May 5, 2025) – Saturday night, an alarming lawn mower crash on MO-T near Poplar Bluff injured a man.

The incident occurred at about 11:00 p.m. on MO-T near Poplar Bluff, said the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The 46-year-old man had been traveling northbound on a lawn mower when a vehicle, driven by a 45-year-old man from Dexter, struck him from behind.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the vehicle then veered off the right side of the road and hit a tree.

Both the lawnmower and the car were totaled. The man on the lawn mower was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
