1 Person Hurt in El Centro Pedestrian Accident on 4th Street and Wake Avenue
EL CENTRO, CA (November 13, 2023) – Saturday night, an alarming hit-and-run crash on 4th Street and Wake Avenue injured one person.
The incident happened at around 7:41 p.m. on 4th Street and Wake Avenue.
According to reports, a truck pulling a white off-road truck on a trailer truck struck a pedestrian for still unknown reasons. Then, the vehicle fled the scene westbound without stopping to provide aid.
Moreover, responders rushed the 59-year-old male pedestrian to El Centro Regional Medical Center where he was later airlifted to the Trauma Center at Desert Regional Medical in the Palm Springs area with unknown injuries.
Furthermore, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
Due to limited information, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
