SAN DIEGO, CA (February 2, 2025) – Friday night, an alarming hit-and-run crash on 100 Via De San Ysidro and West Calle Primera injured one person.

Reports said that the incident happened at around 8:52 p.m. on 100 Via De San Ysidro.

According to the San Diego Police Department, a vehicle struck a pedestrian who ran into the northbound lanes. Then, the vehicle fled the scene without stopping to provide aid.

Moreover, responders transported the 71-year-old male pedestrian to a hospital with a fracture to his leg.
