Injuries Reported in Los Angeles Pedestrian Accident near Fountain Avenue and Havenhurst Drive

LOS ANGELES, CA (May 7, 2025) – Late Monday night, an alarming hit-and-run crash near Fountain Avenue and Havenhurst Drive injured 1.

The incident happened at about 11:55 p.m. near Fountain Avenue and Havenhurst Drive.

According to investigators with the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station, a vehicle traveling west on Fountain struck a pedestrian legally crossing in a marked crosswalk. The driver did not stop and continued westbound.

The pedestrian, whose identity has not been released, was taken to a hospital in critical condition with life-threatening injuries. Authorities say the suspect vehicle is a white sedan, likely with damage to the front or left-front bumper.

Speed is believed to be a factor in the crash. It is still unclear if drugs or alcohol played a role.
