3 People Hospitalized in San Antonio Auto Accident on New Laredo Highway near Pitluk Avenue
SAN ANTONIO, TX (July 15, 2024) – Saturday night, an alarming DUI crash on New Laredo Highway near Pitluk Avenue injured three people.
The incident happened at around 10:30 p.m. in the 7500 block of New Laredo Highway, near Pitluk Avenue.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, a Nissan Altima veered into the northeast-bound lanes and collided head-on with a Cadillac XT5.
Moreover, responders transported the driver of the Cadillac and two passengers to a hospital with serious injuries.
Furthermore, officers arrested the 25-year-old male driver of the Altima who was intoxicated at the time of the crash, for three counts of intoxication assault.
At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
Due to limited information, the SAPD continued to investigate the crash.
