YREKA, CA (June 18, 2025) – On Tuesday, officers arrested one person after an alarming DUI crash on 1500 South Main Street.

The incident happened at the 1500 block of South Main Street.

According to the Yreka Police Department, a vehicle lost control and rear-ended a patrol car, skidded, and struck a second patrol car and a passenger vehicle.

Moreover, officers arrested the driver of the vehicle, pending unknown charges. Also, authorities said that the suspect was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified. 

Due to limited information, the Yreka Police Department continued investigating the crash.
