Injuries Reported in Holt Multi-Vehicle Accident near Bacon Island Road

HOLT, CA (October 17, 2024) – Tuesday afternoon, an alarming 3-vehicle crash near Bacon Island Road injured 3 people.

The incident involving three vehicles occurred at about 4:15 p.m. near Bacon Island Road in Holt.

According to the CHP, a westbound pickup truck lost control on the highway, sideswiping a Honda before crashing head-on into a Toyota. Officials reported that the Honda driver sustained serious injuries. 

The CHP also confirmed that the westbound lane has since reopened for one-way traffic.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
