Woman and Toddler Hurt in Fatal Crash on Craig Road
Airway Heights, WA (January 18, 2023) On Monday afternoon, a female driver died after a vehicle crash near Airway Heights.
The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office says that the fatal crash happened at about 5 p.m. near Craig Road.
Reports say that the vehicle also had a female passenger and a toddler who suffered minor injuries. Paramedics transported all 3 SUV occupants to a hospital.
Officials say that the female passnger and the toddler were released after treatment. However, the female driver succumbed to her injuries and died at the hospital.
Reports say that the SUV attempted to pass another vehicle in a no-passing zone, but encountered another vehicle coming south.
