45-Year-Old Woman Dead in Hollywood Hills Accident on 101 Freeway and Pilgrimage Bridge

 
HOLLYWOOD HILLS, CA (July 6, 2021) – Monday morning, a woman was struck and killed after a crash on the 101 Freeway, and Adrian Castroramos was arrested.
 
The accident happened as the woman stood outside her car at 4:46 a.m near the Cahuenga Pass. Moreover, the CHP confirmed that it happened on the southbound 101 Freeway and Pilgrimage Bridge.
 
According to some witnesses, a big rig struck a gray Toyota sedan. Shortly after this initial collision involving 3 vehicles, the woman exited her vehicle.
 
Also, another vehicle driver hit the Toyota.
 
The authorities later detained the Chevrolet Tahoe, Mr. Castroramos.
 
Police deemed that the 22-year-old was under the influence at the time of the deadly accident.
Therefore, they arrested the suspect for DUI.
 
Furthermore, the crash led California Highway Patrol to issue a Sig Alert at 5:03 a.m. As a result, all southbound lanes just north of the bridge were closed.
 
The authorities continue to investigate the crash.
