Adrian Castro Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Imperial Highway near Duffield Avenue [Whittier, CA]

Adrian Castro Identified as Man Struck by Vehicle in Whittier

 
Whittier, CA (June 15, 2020) – Authorities identified Adrian Castro, 33, as the victim of a pedestrian accident on Imperial Highway Friday night.
 
More specifically, the incident occurred at 10:15 p.m. on June 12 near Duffield Avenue.
 
As a result of the accident, authorities arrived to provide aid to Mr. Castro.
 
Unfortunately, medical personnel pronounced the Whittier resident dead shortly after.
 
Moreover, crews blocked Imperial Highway in both directions between Marquardt Avenue and Edwards Road.
 
It remained shut down for the duration of the crash investigation, according to CHP.
 
The area has since re-opened.
 
It is still unknown whether the driver involved remained at the scene of the collision.
