Doing traffic stops is an important part of a law enforcement officer’s duty to serve and protect the community. Sometimes, it can be a stressful situation for both the driver and the officer. However, through good communication and cooperation, a traffic stop can be a positive experience for everyone. As such, it is important to remain calm when an officer is attempting to pull you over. Find the nearest and safest area to pull over and park your car. Stay in the vehicle until you receive further instructions from the officer.
