Adam Wu Arrested In Startling DUI Crash on Foothill Boulevard [Santa Clara, CA]

4 Children Injured in Santa Clara Auto Accident on Foothill Boulevard and Stevens Creek Boulevard

SANTA CLARA, CA (April 30, 2024) – Monday night, authorities arrested Adam Wu after a startling DUI crash on Foothill Boulevard.

The incident happened at around 6:14 p.m. at the intersection of Foothill Boulevard and Stevens Creek Boulevard.

According to the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office, a silver Mazda pickup truck collided with another vehicle for still unknown reasons. Then, the force of the crash pushed the Mazda to crash with a power pole and struck four children who were on a sidewalk.

Moreover, responders rushed the four children, ages 11, 8, 7, and 4, to a local hospital, one with critical injuries.

Furthermore, authorities arrested and booked the driver of the Mazda, identified as 38-year-old Adam Wu, for driving under the influence of drugs and causing bodily injury.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
