ACAMPO, CA – Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Crash at Collier Road and North 99 Frontage Road

Motorcycle and Pickup Truck Collide on Collier Road in Acampo, Major Injuries Sustained

 
ACAMPO, CA (January 13, 2019) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured following a traffic collision Sunday afternoon in Acampo, authorities said.
 
The collision happened around 4:23 p.m. at the intersection of Collier Road and North 99 Frontage Road.
 
According to an initial report by the California Highway Patrol, a motorcycle collided with a pickup truck, sending the rider down on the roadway.
 
Emergency crews arrived and took the rider to a hospital with major injuries. The identity and condition of the patient were not immediately available.
 
The motorcycle was towed away from the crash site.
 
It is unknown if speed, drugs and/or alcohol were contributing factors in the crash. An investigation is still ongoing.
