1 Dead and 1 Injured in Azusa Auto Accident on San Gabriel Canyon Road

 
AZUSA, CA (July 7, 2020) – Thursday night, Abraham Tapia Jr. died and another was injured in a crash on San Gabriel Canyon Road.
 
According to reports, the crash occurred at around 10:30 p.m. on San Gabriel Canyon Road and mile marker 22.46.
 
The authorities revealed that a Camaro crashed into a chain-link and went off the side of a road. Afterward, the vehicle fell in the Morris Reservoir in the Angeles National Forest. Due to this, search crews responded to the scene.
 
Meanwhile, the L.A. County Fire Department revealed that a person swam to shore following the crash. However, the crews keep searching by Friday morning for a possible second victim.
 
Responders transported the survivor to a local hospital in unknown condition.
 
Furthermore, the crews found the second possible victim by Saturday. The authorities identified the person’s identity as 26-year-old Abraham Tapia Jr. of Azusa.
 
At this time, the authorities haven’t determined the cause of the crash. However, the responding units also found the vehicle.
