PHOENIX, AZ (September 3, 2023) – Saturday morning, Aaliyah Renee Gil died in a tragic rollover crash on 35th Avenue near Baseline Road.

The incident happened at around 1:15 a.m. on 35th Avenue, south of Baseline Road.

According to the Phoenix Police, the incident involved two vehicles, including one that rolled over during the crash. Also, officers believe that a vehicle veered toward the oncoming traffic and collided with the second vehicle.

Moreover, responders pronounced the 20-year-old victim dead at the scene. Then, paramedics transported two people to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Furthermore, officers believe that impairment played a major role in the crash.
