9 Vehicles Involved in Crash on Highway 60 [Hacienda Heights, CA]

Lanes Closed after Multi-Car Collision near Hacienda Boulevard

HACIENDA HEIGHTS, CA (January 5, 2019) – Nine vehicles were involved in a crash on eastbound Highway 60, Saturday afternoon.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 5:24 PM, just west of Hacienda Boulevard. Based on their report, the involved were a gray Hyundai Elantra, a white Scion, three 4D sedans and four unknown parties. The circumstance that led to the pile-up was not yet known.

The paramedics were called for needed medical attention. They had not yet released a report regarding any injury sustained in the pile-up.

A SigAlert was issued closing the HOV, No. 1 and 2 lanes while cleaning and clearing operations took place in the area. No other details were gathered as of report time. Additional information will be released once available as it is still under investigation.
