81-year-old Man Hospitalized after Crash on 13th Street and Imperial Beach Boulevard [Imperial Beach, CA]

IMPERIAL BEACH, CA (September 3, 2020) – On Wednesday night, an 81-year-old man was injured in a crash on 13th Street.
 
The authorities responded to the scene about 8:25 p.m. on 13th Street, south of Imperial Beach Boulevard. Upon their arrival, they located the conscious victim with head and other injuries.
 
San Diego Sheriff’s Sgt. Robert Posada Jr. revealed that responders transported the pedestrian to a hospital. His injuries were considered as serious. At this time, further details about his condition remain unavailable.
 
Meanwhile, the vehicle driver remained at the scene and helped with the investigation. Also, Posada added that the 2018 Honda Civic was impounded.
