8 People Hospitalized after Multi-Vehicle Crash on Boeing Access Road and 5 Freeway [Tukwila, WA]

8 Injured in Tukwila Multi-Vehicle Accident

 
TUKWILA, WA (December 12, 2018) – Eight people were hospitalized following a multi-vehicle accident involving a dozen cars on December 10.
 
The initial collision which was a head-on occurred about 8:30 p.m. along the Boeing Access road just west of 5 Freeway, Tukwila Fire Chief Jay Wittwer reported.
 
According to reports, a car overturned and landed on its top. The firefighters were called to the scene to free the stuck driver.
 
Eight injured people were transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. One of them was listed in critical condition while another one is in serious condition, Wittwer added.
 
The crash is still being investigated.
