8 Injured in Silver Springs Multi-Vehicle Accident on Highway 95
SILVER SPRINGS, NV (September 26, 2019) – Eight people sustained injuries in a multi-vehicle accident on Highway 95 on September 25.
The Central Lyon County fire and paramedics and the NHP all came to respond to a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 95 and Ninth Street.
The authorities received reports of a crash involving 4 to 5 vehicles, including a big rig and 8 patients, around 2:00 p.m. Two Care Flight air ambulances came to the scene.
Authorities shut down the highway in both northbound and southbound lanes of Highway 95. The officers advised motorists to use alternate routes and avoid the area to let emergency vehicles in. Authorities also dispatched outside agencies.
The NHP clarified that the injuries sustained in the crash are non-life-threatening.
The highway has since reopened and the crash remains under investigation.
