73-Year-Old Man Killed in Pacific Avenue Accident [Tacoma, WA]

Tacoma, WA (January 30, 2023) – At about  7:10 p.m. on Saturday, a 73-year-old man sustained fatal injuries in a Pacific Avenue accident.

The authorities responded to the crash scene in the 5900 block area.

Reports say a 45-year-old driver and his 43-year-old female passenger were northbound in an SUV. At the same time, the pedestrian stepped off the sidewalk to cross the street but was struck by the vehicle. 

Investigators said the male driver was not under the influence at the collision.

Officers are still investigating the Tacoma traffic crash.
