Male Injured in Carson City Pedestrian Crash on Hot Springs Road and Pine Lane
CARSON CITY, NV (October 21, 2020) – Monday night, an accident on Hot Springs Road and Pine Lane injured a 72-year-old pedestrian.
According to Carson City Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Nate Brehm, the incident happened just before 6:40 p.m. A vehicle struck the 72-year-old male pedestrian on Hot Springs Road and Pine Lane.
When responders arrived at the scene, they found the conscious victim with injuries to his leg and hip.
Paramedics transported the victim via Care Flight air ambulance. He was admitted to the trauma ward at Renown Medical Center in Reno.
Also, authorities asked the public to stay clear of the area and make way for emergency vehicles.
The incident is under active investigation.
