72-Year-Old Man Killed in 2-Vehicle Crash at Riverside Avenue and Key Street [COLTON, CA]

Mid-Afternoon 2-Car Crash on Riverside Avenue in Colton Kills 1 and Sends Another to Hospital

 
COLTON, CA (December 13, 2019) – A 72-year-old man was killed following a two-vehicle crash Friday mid-afternoon in Colton.
 
The crash happened near the intersection of Riverside Avenue and Key Street.
 
Initial reports did not describe the vehicles involved, but one of the drivers was killed in the crash. The San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office will release the name of the deceased once family members are properly notified.
 
The other driver was taken to the hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
 
The precise circumstances that led to the fatal accident remain unclear at this time. Further investigation is underway.
