71-Year-Old Man Killed by Vehicle in  Pedestrian Accident on 160th Street East

Puyallup, WA (January 03, 2021) – On Friday, a fatal pedestrian accident on 160th street took the life of a 71-year-old man who tried to help a woman his car bumped.

According to the sheriff’s report, around 5 p.m. the 71-year-old driver bumped into a woman pushing a stroller.

Then he pulls over to extend help to the woman, as he was trying to cross, that is when he was struck by a car.

Rescuers took the victim to a hospital, where he died.

Moreover, authorities say the roadway was bleak and it was raining at the time of the accident.

Furthermore, the driver did not leave and speed and impairment were not a factor for the crash.
