70-Year-Old Man Injured in Motorcycle Crash on Highway 395 and Poplar Street [Hesperia, CA]

Injuries Reported in Hesperia Motorcycle Accident on Highway 395 and Poplar Street

 
HESPERIA, CA (November 22, 2022) – Monday night, a 70-year-old man suffered injuries in a motorcycle crash on Highway 395 and Poplar Street.
 
The incident happened just after 6:00 p.m. on Highway 395 and Poplar Street.
 
When the authorities arrived, they found a rider of a black Harley Davidson motorcycle with major injuries.
 
Then, they requested for a helicopter to land nearby to airlift the rider to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.
 
Meanwhile, a witness said that the rider was a 70-year-old male and several people ran to help the rider. “If it wasn’t for the lady who put her can to protect him he wouldn’t have made it. He was awake but was losing consciousness and a guy was helping him [by] keeping him awake.”
 
Also, the crash involved a pickup truck hauling a trailer pulled to the right shoulder of US-395. Also, the driver has been cooperative with the police during the investigation.
 
Furthermore, the authorities closed Highway 395 in Victorville between Main Street and Mesa Street as a result of an earlier crash.
 
Then, the motorcycle crash caused the Hesperia side of Highway 395 to shut down between Main Street and Poplar Street.
 
At this time, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
