7 Hurt in Lake Elsinore Multi-Vehicle Accident

 
LAKE ELSINORE, CA (April 1, 2019) – Seven people suffered injuries in a multi-vehicle crash that shut down all southbound 15 Freeway on March 30.
 
The CHP received reports of the collision at 4:16 p.m. south of Lake Street off-ramp. Reports revealed that a pickup crashed with other vehicles. The impact caused one vehicle to overturn and land on its side.
 
CHP added that the first responders located a person stuck in the wreckage.
 
Meanwhile, the Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department stated that seven people sustained injuries. Furthermore, the crash involved four vehicles. Also, one air ambulance came on the freeway to airlift patients to a hospital.
 
Due to the crash, authorities issued a SigAlert and closed all lanes on southbound 15 Freeway.
 
Furthermore, CHP officers administered an alternate route for motorists through the Lake Street off-ramp.
