18-Year-Old Dodge Driver Involved in Salinas Fatal Pedestrian Accident
Salinas, CA (May 13, 2022) On Wednesday, a 67-year-old pedestrian was fatally struck in an accident on North Main Chaparral Street.
The Salinas Police Department (SPD) says that a 2010 Dodge Charger struck a pedestrian crossing a marked crosswalk at about 10 p.m.
Moreover, reports say that the pedestrian had walked 2 lanes and turned around to return the way they came.
Furthermore, police are investigating the incident and have ruled out impairment as a factor in the crash.
The 18-year-old Dodge driver stayed at the scene and waited for the police to arrive.
