61-Year-Old Man Dies in Pedestrian Accident on San Ysidro Boulevard [San Diego, CA]

61-Year-Old Man, Fell, and Ran Over by SUV in Fatal Pedestrian Accident

San Diego, CA (November 01, 2020) – On Saturday, a 61-year-old man was killed in a pedestrian accident on the 500 block of East San Ysidro Boulevard.

SDPD Officer Robert Heims says the fatal pedestrian accident happened at about 2:05 p.m. when an SUV ran over and killed a pedestrian.

Moreover, Heims says that after the man exits an establishment, he then trips and fell face-first on the asphalt.

Unfortunately, a Cadillac Escalade pulling out of an adjacent parking lot ran over the prone pedestrian.

Furthermore, authorities say, the unidentified pedestrian sustained deadly injuries and died at the scene.
