6-Year-Old Boy Killed by SUV in Parking Lot Crash on Garden Grove

Garden Grove, CA (March 19, 2021) On Thursday, a 6-year-old boy was killed in a parking lot crash at Haster Basin Recreation Park on 12952 Lampson Avenue.

Garden Grove Police Department (GGPD) reports say that the incident happened around 7 p.m. when a 6-year-old boy was hit and killed by an SUV in the parking lot of the park.

Moreover, the driver of the SUV was cooperative and did not leave the scene.

Furthermore, the SUV will be used as evidence.

Meanwhile, paramedics took the unidentified child to a local hospital for immediate treatment but ultimately succumb to his injuries.

Authorities are conducting an investigation to determine the probable cause of the crash.
