6 Hurt in Tukwila Auto Accident on 405 Freeway

 
TUKWILA, WA (July 16, 2020) – Tuesday morning, six people sustained injuries in a multi-vehicle accident on 405 Freeway.
 
According to reports, the crash occurred at around 7:10 a.m. Then, the troopers and several emergency units came to the crash scene, south of Exit 1 in the southbound lanes.
 
Upon their arrival, they located two overturned vehicles. Moreover, the crash also led to a heavy traffic backup in the southbound lanes of 405 Freeway.
 
However, the lanes have since reopened.
 
At this time, the authorities continue to investigate to identify the events that have led up to the crash.
 
Meanwhile, another crash occurred in the southbound lanes of 5 Freeway and NE 145th Street. Due to the crash, all lanes were blocked and had caused a six-mile backup. Fortunately, the crews cleared the road and the lanes have since reopened.
