SACRAMENTO, CA (August 23, 2019) – Six people sustained injuries in a multi-vehicle accident on Marconi Avenue on August 21.
 
The Sacramento Fire Department revealed that the crash left one person in critical condition while five others sustained injuries.
 
The the three-vehicle accident occurred at about 8:35 p.m. at Marconi Avenue and Connie Drive. According to the fire department, one vehicle overturned in the collision. After that, driver of the other vehicle fled the scene.
 
Four of the six injured, including the critically injured, came from the overturned vehicle.
 
Authorities shut down Marconi Avenue during the investigation and clearing operation. However, the road opened soon after.
