STOCKTON, CA (July 17, 2022) – Saturday morning, six people sustained injuries in a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 99 near Carpenter Road.
 
According to California Highway Patrol Officer Tom Olsen, the incident happened at around 5:00 a.m. Moreover, it occurred on Highway 99 at the Carpenter Road exit.
 
Reports revealed that a big rig rear-ended a box truck for still unknown reasons. Then, the force of the crash pushed the box truck southeast where it overturned. Moments later, a Buick Enclave struck the box truck.
 
Moreover, two occupants of the Buick, a man, and his wife sustained moderate injuries. Meanwhile, their three children sustained minor and moderate injuries. Also, the box truck driver suffered moderate injuries. Meanwhile, the big rig driver suffered no injuries in the crash, CHP added.
 
Furthermore, the incident blocked three lanes of the highway but has long since reopened.
 
Meanwhile, the incident remained under investigation.
