SONOMA, CA (December 21, 2021) – Monday morning, six people suffered injuries in a 5-vehicle crash on Highway 37 and Highway 121.
 
The incident occurred at around 10:45 a.m. on Highway 37, east of Highway 121.
 
According to Officer Darrel Horner, unsafe speed played a role in the crash. Also, the crash shut down westbound Highway 37 for more than an hour.
 
Also, a CHP helicopter responded and airlifted one person with moderate injuries to a hospital.
 
According to Horner, the injuries were non-life-threatening. Also, authorities reopened the highway at about 12:15 p.m.
