59-Year-Old Man Injured in Pedestrian Accident on Orange Avenue [San Diego, CA]

San Diego, CA (September 17, 2021) – On Wednesday, a 59-year-old man suffered injuries in a pedestrian accident on  Orange Avenue.

The pedestrian crash took place minutes after 6 p.m. near 42nd Street in the Teralta West neighborhood.

Officers said the pedestrian was walking east on Orange Avenue when a 23-year-old man driving a Dodge Ram made a left turn and struck the victim. i

As a result, the victim incurred an open fracture to his left arm.

On the other hand, the involved driver stayed at the scene and was not arrested during the accident.

Meanwhile, the authorities withheld the driver’s and the pedestrian’s identities.
