Los Osos Man Struck And Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Highway 101

 
San Luis Obispo, CA (October 15, 2020) – On Thursday, a 55-year-old man from Los Osos died in a pedestrian accident on Highway 101.
 
The fatal accident took place at about 4:40 a.m. in the southbound lanes of the highway just south of Madonna Road.
 
California Highway Patrol said the victim was running across the highway from the center divider when he ran directly in front of the vehicle.
 
Unfortunately, the man succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, the driver, identified as a 49-year-old woman from San Luis Obispo, was traveling approximately 65-70 mph at the time of the incident.
 
Subsequently, CHP did not arrest the driver.
