54-Year-Old Man Dies in Pedestrian Accident on Clairemont Mesa Boulevard [San Diego, CA]

San Diego, CA ( January 21, 2022) On Thursday evening, a 54-year-old man died after a car struck him in a Fatal pedestrian accident on Clairemont Mesa Boulevard.

The San Diego Police Department (SDPD) says that the accident happened at about 7:10 p.m. Dolivar Drive, near an Interstate 805 overpass and on-ramp.

Moreover, a 28-year-old woman driving a Nissan Sentra was driving east towards the freeway when the pedestrian appeared in front of her.

Authorities say, the man supposedly ran from the Clairemont Mesa Boulevard center island. Then, into the roadway and in front of the Nissan that hit him.

Furthermore, rescuers took the victim to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Meanwhile, the San Diego Police Department’s traffic division is investigating, and no further details about the crash are available at the moment.
