Male Motorcyclist Killed in Merced Hit-and-Run on Belcher

Merced, CA (October 25, 2020) – On Friday, a hit-and-run accident on Belcher Avenue and Beachwood Drive killed a 50-year-old male motorcyclist.

Furthermore, the CHP  says the fatal hit-and-run happened at 7:03 p.m. in the area of Belcher Avenue in Merced.

Moreover, initial investigation reports say, that the motorcyclist was headed east on Belcher Avenue. Then, a dark late 90’s or early 00′ model green sedan made a sudden left turn and collided with the motorcycle.

Subsequently, rescuers say that the motorcyclist died at the scene, and the suspect vehicle escaped the scene.

Additionally, authorities are still investigating the crash and would like to ask possible witnesses to come out and help them.
