Man Fatally Injured in Los Angeles Hit-and-Run Crash on Avalon Boulevard

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (August 5, 2019) – A man in his 50s suffered fatal injuries in a hit-and-run accident on Avalon Boulevard on Friday, August 2.
 
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the incident happened at 9:30 p.m. near the intersection of Avalon Boulevard and Lanzit Avenue. It is located in the Green Meadows area of South Los Angeles.
 
Paramedics rushed the victim to the hospital where he later died, police said on Saturday morning.
 
A description of the suspect vehicle was not immediately released. In addition, the identity of the victim was not yet available.
 
LAPD South Traffic Division investigated the incident.
