1 Person Killed in Rusky County Auto Accident on County Road 485
RUSKY COUNTY, TX (March 21, 2023) – Saturday afternoon, a 5-year-old boy died in an ATV crash on County Road 485 in Rusky County.
The incident happened at around 4:00 p.m. on County Road 485, about 8.5 miles south of Henderson.
According to reports, a Polaris Ranger ATV overcorrected when its driver attempted to prevent one of its passengers from falling. Then, the ATV crashed and rolled over, ejecting one of its minor passengers.
Moreover, responders pronounced the 5-year-old male victim dead at the scene. Also, the 39-year-old driver of the ATV and a nine-year-old passenger were not hurt in the crash.
At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
