FRESNO COUNTY, CA (February 6, 2022) – Saturday morning, five people died in a two-vehicle crash on Millerton Road and Marina Drive.
 
The incident happened just before 4:30 a.m. near Millerton Lake on Millerton Road and Marina Drive. Moreover, it occurred just a few miles down the road from Table Mountain Casino.
 
According to officers, the crash involved a grey Hyundai and a White Honda. Also, at least five people died and two others suffered critical injuries.
 
Meanwhile, a chopper and ground ambulance transported the injured to Community Regional Medical Center.
 
Moreover, Mike Salas with the CHP confirmed that the men failed to wear their seatbelts at the time of the crash. Also, the authorities believed that alcohol may have played a role.
