Mercedes and SUV Rear-End Crash Injures Five on Sierra Highway in Acton

 
Acton, CA (December 3, 2020) – Wednesday night, five people sustained injuries in a three-vehicle crash in the 4000 block of Sierra Highway.
 
The crash happened at about 11:20 p.m on December 2, near Crown Valley Road.
 
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s said a Chevy Suburban was traveling southbound on Sierra Highway when it was rear-ended by the Mercedes, which veered into the northbound lanes and struck another vehicle.
 
As a result, five patients were transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.
 
Investigators say speed is the primary factor in the crash, but it was unclear if alcohol or drugs were involved.
 
Authorities continue to investigate the crash further.
