Five Hurt in Devore Car Accident on 15 Freeway

 
DEVORE, CA (June 26, 2019) – A multi-car accident on 15 Freeway near the 215 Freeway, left five people with injuries Monday.
 
According to reports, the crash happened around 4:55 p.m. After that, police located five vehicles that collided under unknown circumstances.
 
A Chevy Tahoe SUV, a maroon Toyota Camry, a black Ford F-150, a blue Jeep SUV and a white Kia sedan crashed in the southbound lanes. Two of the vehicles came to a rest on the northbound lanes.
 
Authorities issued a Sig Alert at 5:15 p.m., due to clean up and investigations. However, the area has since reopened.
 
Multiple people, including children, were among those hurt as a result of the accident.
 
Firefighters extricated at least two seriously injured occupants from the black Chevy Tahoe, which overturned from the crash.
 
A few occupants inside of the Tahoe received treatment at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center due to the extent of their injuries. Meanwhile, several others were transported to Loma Linda University Medical Center.
 
In addition, the crash also blocked the No. 1, 2 and 3 lanes. However, the area has since reopened.
 
Authorities are investigating to eventually determine the cause of the collision.
