One Struck and Killed by SUV in Accident on Yosemite Boulevard

 
Modesto, CA (December 19, 2020) – On Thursday, a 43-year-old man died in a deadly pedestrian accident on Yosemite Boulevard.
 
The fatal accident took place at about 8:10 p.m. when the victim was crossing east of Riverside Drive.
 
Apparently, the man was not inside a crosswalk when an eastbound SUV driven by a 25-year-old woman struck him.
 
The woman stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
 
Meanwhile, authorities said the driver was not impaired by drugs or alcohol at the time of the incident.
 
Immediately, the rescuers took the man to Memorial Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
